Michael Roll gets extension from Zaragoza

Michael Roll (196 cm, UCLA’10) has received a contract extension from CAI Zaragoza from Spain’s ACB and will be joining them in 2013-14. The 26-year-old was productive for Zaragoza in 2012-13. He logged averages of 11.8 ppg and 3.1 rpg in 40 games in the Spanish ACB. Zaragoza reached the semifinals in both the ACB and the Spanish Supercup in 2013.

In 2011-12 Roll played for the Port of Antwerp Giants from Belgium’s D1. In 27 games in the Belgian league he averaged 12.0 ppg and 4.0 rpg. In 12 games representing the Giants in the EuroChallenge Michael averaged 15.8 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
