Maurice Acker signs on with Trefl Sopot

Maurice AckerTrefl Sopot (Poland-TBL) has signed Maurice Acker (1.73m, college: Marquette) to play for the squad in the upcoming season. Acker played for the MagixX Matrixx in the Netherlands last season, where he averaged 14.4 points and 4.2 assists over 29.8 minutes per game in 31 contests.
Acker is a product of Marquette University, where he average 8.7 points and 3.7 assists per game his senior year. During that same time he had one of the lowest turnover averages in the country, committing a mere 1.2 turnovers a game. After graduating from Marquette Acker was picked up by the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA Development League, but ended up leaving the Jam early to start his professional career in Canada with Quebec KEBS.

    Nice school, but I’m amazed that coach picked him.
    I thought much better about the coach.

    wasnt really impressed with him as a player…we’ll see how he does in poland
