Marqus Blakely joins Neckar Riesen

Marqus Blakely  (196 cm, Vermont ’10) has signed with Neckar Riesen Ludwigsburg (Germany-BBL). Blakely had signed with Telecom Baskets Bonn (Germany-BBL), but was released when he failed the required medical tests. He’ll arrive shortly in Germany and be put through the tests again to determine if he’s ready to suit up, but according to reports he’s had the tests done in the US and has passed them without issue. Blakely spent last season in D-League finishing the year in the Philippines with B-Meg Llamados with whom he averaged 22.4ppg, 13.4rpg and 4.2apg. Blakely was also in training camp of the Los Angeles Clippers before the NBA season started.
