Marko Car joins KK Zagreb

Marko Car (188cm) has signed on to finish the 2012-13 season with KK Zagreb (Croatia-A1). Car was released in Dec., 2012 by KK Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1) after playing 11 games with the club. In four Euroleague games he was averaging 2.0 points on 8.0 minutes of playing time, and in seven Adriatic League games he was contributing 2.4 points on 9.3 minutes of court-time. This was Car’s second season with Cedevita as he joined the club at the beginning of the 2011-12 campaign. In eight EuroCup games he tallied 5.9 points per game, dropped in 8.7ppg in 28 Adriatic League contests and added 7.4ppg in 21 Croatian League games. In 2010-11 he suited up for KK Zadar (Croatia-A1) where he lead the league in scoring (21.7ppg), was second in assists (5.4apg) and fourth in steals (1.9spg), all over 16 games. He added 13.3ppg in 12 EuroChallenge games and 16.3ppg in 26 Adriatic League contests. This is Car’s eighth professional season.
