Marco Allegretti joins Ferentino

Marco Allegretti (204 cm) has signed with FMC Ferentino (Italy-Lega2) for the remainder of the season. Allegretti most recently played for Nuovo Napoli Basket (Italy-Lega2), but was released when the club ran into financial difficulties. While he played for them, he scored and average of 21.3 points and grabbed 9.0 rebounds per game over three games. Prior to that he suited up for Unama Venezia (Italy-SerieA), averaging 1.5 points per game in 20 SerieA contests. Allegretti started his professional career in 2000 with the Varese Roosters (Italy-A1). He was a member of the Italian National Team in 2004 and 2009 and the Italian University National Team in 2005.
