Marcellus Sommerville signs with Aliaga

Marcellus Sommerville (200 cm, Bradley’06) will be playing for Aliaga Petkim from Turkey (TBL) for the 2013-14 season. Sommerville spent the 2012-13 season playing for SLUC Nancy Basket Pro from France’s ProA.

He played six games for Nancy in the EuroChallenge and averaged 12.8 ppg and 6.2 rpg. Marcus also played 30 games in the French ProA and there he averaged 15.6 ppg and 6.9 rpg.

In 2011-12 he played for Le Mans Sarthe Pro Basket, also from France’s ProA. He was able to log six games for them in the Eurocup and average 11.5 ppg and 3.7 rpg. In the French ProA league he averaged 12.9 ppg and 5.9 rpg. Le Mans was a finalist in the French ProA in 2012.
