Mantas Kalnietis inks three-year deal with Lokomotiv

Mantas Kalnietis (1.96m) has inked a three-year deal to suit up for Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-PBL). Kalnietis arrives from Zalgiris Kaunas, where Kalnietis also had a multi-year deal. While with Zalgiris he averaged 17.7 points and 4.3 assists. In June of 2009 he signed a three-year contract with Benetton Treviso (Italy-SerieA), but since he still had a one-year contract with Zalgiris, but a FIBA arbiter ruled that he had to honor his deal with Zalgiris. In December 2010, he agreed to a three-year extension to that deal, which has not run out.
