LaVar Ball pulls LiAngelo and LaMelo out of Vytautas

LaVar Ball The chapter of the Ball family “educational trip” to Lithuania has come to a close. Family patriarch LaVar Ball has opted to pull out sons LiAngelo and LaMelo out of BC Vytautas Prienu and are returning to their home in Los Angeles.

LiAngelo declared for the NBA Draft last month and LaVar is hoping that a preemptive shutdown, due to a recent ankle injury, will have him ready in time to participate at 100 percent in the NBA Draft Combine, scheduled in May.

LaVar said that he was happy overall with Lithuania and the team, but said that he did not get along with the coach. As very involved stage father, LaVar has personally been overseeing the development of all three of his sons, whom he hopes to have successful careers in the NBA. The eldest son, Lonzo, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers second-overall in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Vytautas still has two more games left in the regular season and are at risk of relegation as 2017-18 draws to a close.
