NBA Summer League The Los Angeles Lakers won the 2017 NBA Summer League after downing the Portland Trail Blazers, 98-110 in the tournament finals. The Lakers were without rookie point guard Lonzo Ball, who was sitting out the game with an injury. His absence was not a problem for the purple and gold squad, with Kyle Kuzma stepping up the crucial game. He had a huge game, dropping 30 points and grabbing 10 rebounds on the Blazers. He was unstoppable, shooting 11-of-16 from the field and 6-of-10 from downtown. The Blazers were led by Caleb Swanigan who scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.
