Kyle Nelson, added by CSU Sibiu

Kyle Nelson (203 cm, Augustana, IL’11) will be continuing his pro career in Romania as he joins CSU Atlassib Sibiu (Liga Nationala) for the 2013-14 season. Nelson played in Georgia in the 2012-13 season for Energy Invest Rustavi.

He played 23 games in the Georgian league and averaged 16.8 ppg and 9.1 rpg. He performed so well for Rustavi that season that he was selected to play in the Georgian League All-Star Game in 2013. Nelson also helped Rustavi reach the finals of the Georgian Cup.

Nelson began the 2011-12 season playing for Liepajas Lauvas from Latvia, but only played one game for them in the Baltic league and he tallied 6 points and 5 rebounds. In November 2011 he moved to BK Zemgale Jelgava, also from Latvia. There he averaged 12.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg in 23 games in the Latvian league, while averaging 10.7 ppg and 8.2 rpg in six Baltic League games.
