Kevin Bridgewaters joins Timba Timisoara

Kevin Bridgewaters (179 cm, Chattanooga’08) has signed with BC Timba Timisoara from Romania’s Liga Nationala. The 28-year-old Bridgewaters is coming from MBK Ranik Handlova from Slovakia’s Extraliga, where he played the 2012-13 season. The Chattanooga alum has been added to bolster Timba Timisoara’s back court. Even though he’s a small guard at 179 cm, Kevin should be able to make use of his speed and playmaking skills to carve out some solid playing time.

In 19 games playing for Handlova in the Extraliga, Kevin averaged 21.6 ppg and 5.8 apg. In 2011-12 he played for a number of teams from both Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
