Jon Brockman now a free agent

Former NBA forward Jon Brockman (201 cm, Washington’09) is leaving Limoges CSP Elite from France’s ProA. He and the club were not able to agree on terms for a new contract. His stint with Limoges is first outside the NBA, after being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2nd round (38th overall) in the 2009 NBA draft. He was released by the Houston Rockets in October 2012. He then signed with the French club in November that same year.

Brockman played 22 games for Limoges and averaged a double-double in under 30 minutes per game, with 11.1 ppg and 10.7 rpg.

Brockman won’t likely stay a free agent for long and should quickly be snatched up by a team that has a need for his talents soon enough.
