Jon Brockman joins Limoges
Jon Brockman (201 cm, Washington’09) has joined Limoges CSP Elite (France-ProA). The club hasn’t confirmed the deal so it’s speculated that it might be a trial as Limoges did with another recent addition, Da ‘Quan Cook. Brockman is a 2009 graduate of Washington State University, where he was a four-year starter for the Huskies. As a junior he averaged 17.8ppg and 11.6rpg in the tough Pac-10 Conference. As a senior he pulled in 14.9ppg and 11.5rpg, giving him career stats of 13.8ppg and 9.8rpg over 131 games. He left Washington State holding the Pac-12 (the Conference has added two teams since he graduated) record for career rebounds with 1,283. That number also places him fourth on the NCAA career leader board. His career average of 9.8 rebounds per game also leads the Pac-12 and is 12th on the NCAA career list.
Brockman was drafted in the 2nd round (38th pick overall) of the 2009 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers and was prompt traded to the Sacramento Kings. He averaged 12.6 minutes per game over 52 games his rookie season, scoring 2.8ppg and averaging 5.1rpg. He was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks after the 2009-10 season, where he played two years before being traded to the Houston Rockets. The Rockets waived Brockman during training camp in Oct. of 2012.

good college player but didn’t do anything in the pros…interested to see how he adapts to euro play
Lack of overseas experience will make it interesting itself to see how things will develop
His college time was alright. And NBA season wasn’t that desperate.
