Johnathon Jones released by Fraport

Johnathon Jones (183 cm, Oakland’10) has been released by the Fraport Skyliners (Germany-BBL) according to the club’s website. It was also noted that Jones will move to HKK Siroki WWIN (Bosnia-Division I), who is currently playing in the Adriatic League. With the Skyliners Jones averaged 6.9 points and 3.0 assists per game over 14 games. Jones issues a statement through the team, stating “I had a great time here in Frankfurt and learned a lot. Unfortunately, it did not work quite the way I planned, but I would like to express my sincere thanks that I had the chance to come here and meet so many great people. Now I look forward to my new challenge, I want to keep learning and to show what kind of player I can be. It is still important to me that I say to all the fans in Frankfurt ‘thank you’. They were really great!”
