Jerry Krause passes away at 77
Jerry Krause, the man responsible for putting together the team that would go on to successfully build the Chicago Bulls’ championship dynasty of the 1990s, passed away at age 77. The Chicago Bulls confirmed the passing of their former general manager on Tuesday.
Krause had a very keen eye for talent and was responsible for scouting the likes of Scottie Pippen, Charles Oakley, Bill Cartright, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, and Ron Harper.
Despite his success with the Chicago Bulls organization, Jerry had a rocky relationship with both Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan.
Jerry was named NBA Executive of the Year twice in his career.
