Jermaine Anderson joins Cibona Zagreb

Jermaine Anderson (188 cm, Fordham’06) has agreed to terms with KK Cibona Zagreb (Croatia-A1) according to the club’s website. Anderson played for KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Montenegro-1A) last season where he and his squad were involved in three different leagues; Eurocup, Adriatic League and the Montenegro A1. In the Eurocup competition he averaged 10.4ppg and 3.0apg over 14 contests; in the Adriatic League he competed in 26 games, averaging 9.3ppg and 3.0apg; and in the Montenegro A1 he contributed 7.2ppg and 3.7apg. They also were in one Euroleague qualifier against Lietuvos Rytas, were he dropped in 4 points in an83:64 losing effort. Anderson was a four-year member of the Fordham University basketball team, averaging 10.6ppg over 111 games, including 15.6ppg his senior year. He lead the Atlantic 10 Conference in free throw percentage his senior year with 85.2% (92 of 108). He finished 2nd in the A-10 Conference his senior year in three-point field goals (89) and 3-point field goal percentage (41.4% – 89 of 215). He’s been a member of the Canadian National Team from 2004-11.
