Jaroslav Tyrna joins Uni-Riesen

Jaroslav Tyrna (207 cm, New Orleans ’11) has joined Uni-Riesen Leipzip (Germany-ProA) for the rest of the season. Tyrna started the 2012-13 season with SLUNETA Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic-NBL), where he averaged 9.8 points and 7.8 rebounds over five games. He also played for SLUNETA in 2010-11, getting in 37 contests and contributing 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in those 37 games. Tyrna was a four year member of the University of New Orleans basketball team finishing his final season in 2011, as a freshman in 2007-08, he was a team mate of Fenerbahçe Ülker’s Bo McCalebb, who was a senior.
