Jamar Smith added by Brose Baskets

Brose Baskets Bamberg (Germany-BBL) are set to sign Jamar Smith (191 cm, Southern Indiana’10) for the 2013-14. The news didn’t come too long after Alex Renfroe (191 cm, Belmont’09) was not going to continue with the team for the upcoming season. Smith is a strong candidate to take over Renfroe’s role on the team.

In 2012-13 Smith played for Altshuler Saham Galil Gilboa from Israel’s Winner League. He averaged 14.4 ppg and 3.4 apg in the Israeli league. In competition in the Balkan League Smith posted averages of 16.5 ppg and 3.7 apg in 11 games. Galil Gilboa won the Balkan league championship this 2013.
