Ibrahim Jaaber returned his salary to Zalgiris

Zalgiris Kaunas announced that Ibrahim Jaaber, who left the team earlier this week due to his religious convictions, has paid back the club all the money he earned since his arrival last October!

Vitoldas Masalskis, the Sports Director of Zalgiris says: .

“Jaaber said that he won’t have financial problems with this decision. I can say that he is a unique player. He was the only player who never asked when he would get paid his next salary. Money wasn’t the most important thing in the world to him. He did whatever the coach asked of him and he was never late to practices.”
