Grayson Allen suspended by Duke

Grayson Allen Grayson Allen (196 cm) has been suspended indefinitely by Duke University. This comes after the player received a technical foul for tripping Elon player, Steven Santa Ana. This is not the first time Allen has tripped another player. He was caught doing so twice before. Coach Mike Krzyzewski called Grayson’s actions “unacceptable and inexcusable”.

The fact that this has become a pattern for the player, has many people up in arms over his behavior.

Coach K would then go on to make this statement regarding the penalty given to Allen:

“I handle things the way I handle them,” Krzyzewski said after the game. “I think I’ve handled this correctly, and moving forward I will continue to handle it correctly, and I don’t need to satisfy what other people think I should do.”

“I’m a teacher and a coach,” he said. “And I’m responsible for that kid, so I know him better than anybody. So to think that it’s the last thing that’s said about this to him is wrong. Obviously, we will do more. It doesn’t mean you have to see it, or anybody else has to see it.”
