George Papas signs with Olympiacos

George Papas has signed a two-year deal with Greek powerhouse Olympiacos Piraeus.

Papas (196 cm) will begin his professional career with the Reds after spending five years playing college basketball at Monmouth University. He averaged 14.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 34 games for the Hawks last season. Born in America to a Greek family, Papas was named to the All MAAC (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) First Team last season and the Second Team the season before.
