Fan Outbursts Interrupt Trabzonspor-Fenerbahce Game

 Referees were forced to stop a game between Trabzonspor Medical Park Basketbol in Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul in the Turkish BSL. Things got out of hand as fans in attendance got too rowdy and began throwing objects onto the court after Trabzonspor’s Chris Obeka pushed Fenerbahce forward Jan Vesely to the ground. Obeka reacted to an offensive foul committed by Vesely.

The heated emotions spilled over into the stands, the referees had to ask that the fans be removed from the arena. The fans left. Obeka was ejected. The game was able to resume afterward.
