FIBA Europe Cup Round of 16 pairings drawn

The pairings for the FIBA Europe Cup Round of 16 were drawn at the FIBA Regional Office Europe headquarters in Munich on Wednesday.

Following the Regular Season’s conclusion, the top two clubs from each of the six groups, plus the four best third-placed teams, advanced to the Play-Offs, with the 16 qualified clubs divided into seeded and unseeded teams.

The draw was made to restrict that teams from the same Regular Season group cannot be drawn against each other.

The Round of 16 pairings are as follows:

Pair 1: BC CSU Sibiu v UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia
Pair 8: BC Dnipro v CSM CSU Oradea

Pair 4: BC Prometey v Belfius Mons-Hainaut
Pair 5: Arged BMSLAM Stal v Heroes Den Bosch

Pair 2: Fribourg Olympic v BC Balkan
Pair 7: BC Parma v Rilski Sportist

Pair 3: Iraklis BC v Anwil
Pair 6: Ironi Ness Ziona v BC Kyiv Basket

The Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals will be played as single-elimination games in four hubs of four teams each, as per the Play-Off bracket, from March 23-25.

The hosts of the four Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals hubs will be announced at a later time.

The FIBA Europe Cup season will conclude with a Final Four in April.
