In a game between the two Turkish titans, Fenerbahce played with enthusiasm and energy and easily defeated Anadolu Efes 90-68. Fenerbahce now has a 4-0 Turkish league record, while Efes lost for the first time.
Anadolu Efes had five turnovers in the first 5 minutes, and Fenerbahçe quickly took the lead in the game.
In the first minute of the second quarter, Fenerbahce already had a double-digit lead (27-16), and they never let Efes come closer. On the contrary, Fenerbahce even increased the lead to 27 points in the fourth quarter, before coach Djordjevic benched his main players and gave some playing time to the reserves.
Efes is clearly in trouble. Although this is their first defeat in the Turkish league, we could already see the signing on the wall in the Euroleague, where Efes has lost all four games so far.
