Eurosport 2 moves to twice-per-week Eurocup Coverage

Eurosport 2To celebrate opening week of the Eurocup’s 11th season, broadcasting partner Eurosport 2 marks the continuation of its long-term collaboration with the competition by debuting its new, two-night-per-week schedule of live, multi-language game broadcasts. Throughout the season, Eurosport 2 will broadcast Eurocup games in prime time on both Tuesdays and Wednesday each week. Its live coverage begins at 20:45 CET on Tuesday with two-time Eurocup champion Valencia Basket of Spain hosting Banvit BK Bandirma of Turkey. Less than 24 hours later, at 20:00 CET on Wednesday, Eurosport 2 brings you a clash between Trefl Sopot of Poland vs. Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul of Turkey.

Eurosport 2 is one of the fastest-growing TV channels in Europe, reaching 61 million households in 18 languages across 47 countries. Its coverage of the Eurocup since 2005 has accompanied the growth of the competition into a brand that is followed closely by millions of fans throughout Europe and the rest of the world. This season the Eurocup will feature 32 clubs from 17 countries.
