Krasnie Krilya to miss Eurocup

Krasnie Krilya Samara from Russia (PBL) will not be participating in the Eurocup in the coming season. The team will be unable to participate in the Eurocup due to requirements. The team had originally planned to play its Eurocup games in a new arena in Tolyatti, but decided not to do so for now.

Krasnie Krilya won the 2013 EuroChallenge and were finalists in 2010. They won the Eurocup in 2007. The Russian team is expected to once again be a participant in the Eurocup after it resolves its logistical issues. It was announced that Krasnie Krilya will be moving to Lada-Arena next season. The brand new arena is slated to open in September.
