Eurocup 2012-13: Regular Season Week 1
The first week of the Eurocup 2012-13 regular season saw seven of the 16 contests going to road clubs, one going into overtime and seven of the games ending in margins of 13-points or more. Matthew Lojeski of Telenet Oostende earned the top spot on the Performance Index Rating coming in with a PIR of 34 against Panionios BC Athens. Serey Karasev of BC Triumph Lyubertsy lead all scorers for the week with a 27-point outburst against Le Mans Sarthe Basket.
Group A
BC Prienai vs. Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem 85:72
BC Prienai got their first win their second Eurocup season with a 85:72 decision over Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem. Gediminas Orelik led the winners with 26.

The other Group A winner was CEZ Basketball Nymburk as they stopped BC Budivelnik Kiev 91:78. A 30:8 run the spanned the middle two frames of the contest was the diffence for the Czech champions.

Gescrap Bilbao Basket needed to outscore Buducnost Podgorica Voli 28:15 in the fourth quarter to send their first Group B contest to overtime and pick up an exciting win 85:78.

VEF Riga grabbed their first win of the Eurocup 2012-13 season on the road when they downed the Artland Dragons 72:82. Dairis Bertans and Antanas Kavaliauskas both dropped in 18 for the visitors.

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar put up their first ‘W’ of the Eurocup 2012-13 season with a 75:78 decision over BC Donetsk in Group E.

Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul took their game on the road and picked up a substantial 65:94 win in Poland to show why they are a pre-season favorite in Group E.
