Devin Searcy signs with Bremerhaven

Devin Searcy (208 cm, Dayton’11) is headed to Germany to play for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (BBL). Searcy is coming off a stint playing in Russia for Triumph Lyubertsy (PBL) in 2012-13.

Devin was able to represent Triumph in three leagues. He averaged 3.7 ppg and 3.1 rpg in 11 games in the VTB United League. He managed to hit averages of 5.6 ppg and 3.8 rpg in the Russian PBL. In nine games in the Eurocup he averaged 5.4 ppg and 3.4 rpg.

Searcy averaged a solid double-double in his rookie season in 2011-12 for the Toyama Grouses from Japan’s BJ League, posting averages of 13.8 ppg and 10.8 rpg in 45 games.
