Tough news for Chicago Bulls fans. An MRI has revealed that Derrick Rose has a torn mensicus in his right knee and he will undergo season-ending surgery. This is another chapter in the series of unfortunate series of injuries that the former MVP has had to deal with. This is the same injury he suffered back in November 2013. Rose tore his ACL in his left knee in the 2012 Playoffs.
Chicago is third in the East with a 36-21 record, but with Rose out their chances of going deep in the postseason takes a huge hit.
This was a terribly sour note for him as he was recently working himself back into All-Star caliber form in recent weeks, after struggling with a slow start in 2014/15. Rose was averaging 18.4 ppg and 5.0 apg in 46 games played for the Bulls this season.
