The Los Angeles Clippers will be missing Italian forward, Danilo Gallinari for an extended period of time. He already missed a few weeks with what was initially diagnosed as a strained glute. Unfortunately, subsequent imaging from recent tests has revealed a partial tear. The Clippers will have him go through a rehab process. Gallinari is expected to be re-evaluated after two weeks, pushing back his return date to sometime in 2018. Coach Doc Rivers has been very clear that he will not rush his players back. It is entirely possible that Gallo gets back in action after the All-Star Break, meaning that he would have missed the majority of his first season with the Clippers. He signed with the team this summer.
