Round 20 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague 2018-19 season was completed on Friday with four games. Real Madrid and Fenerbahce Istanbul secured wins over respective opponents on Thursday, keeping their 1-2 spots in the standings intact. Fenerbahce cruised passed Olympiacos 90-75, while Real Madrid defeated Anadolu Efes 92-84.

On Friday, CSKA Moscow managed to climb back up to third place in the standings with a road win over FC Barcelona Lassa, 76-84. They are now 14-6, the same record as Anadolu Efes. The takeaway here is that the Russian Army club is building some momentum. They were a top team early in the season but fell after suffering a few tough losses. CSKA is recovering from a round-18 upset at the hands of Maccabi Tel Aviv with an impressive win vs. a solid team like Barca.

Nando de Colo recorded a new career-high seven 3-pointers en route to his game-high 25 points. Thanks to his scorching night from long-range, CSKA was able to mount a key rally in the third quarter to seize control of the game from their hosts. Will Clyburn chipped in with 17 points in what was a solid offensive exercise from CSKA.

Unfortunately, this marks a second straight loss for Barcelona (11-9), who sit precariously in sixth place in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings. Ante Tomic struggled in this outing and was limited to scoring nine points in 23 minutes of action. Victor Claver picked up the slack and led Barca with 17 points.
