VTB United League honorary president Sergei Ivanov released the budgets of all nine Russian clubs in the League for the 2016-17 season during a special press conference today at the Kremlin.
The CSKA Moscow budget once again is the largest in the League: $ 46,7 million. Also in the top three of richest Russian clubs are Khimki ($ 25,3 million) and Lokomotiv-Kuban (19,7 million). Next are UNICS ($ 15,7 million), Zenit ($ 13,3 million), Nizhny Novgorod ($ 6,5 million), Enisey ($ 4,8 million), Avtodor ($ 3,6 million) and Parma ($ 2,8 million).
The VTB United League’s budget was also made public, coming to $ 9,8 million this season. The CSKA budget is among the highest in the world, outside of the NBA. They even have their own team plane.
