Chris Quinn (188 cm, Notre Dame’06) has turned down Valencia’s offer to extend the one-month contract he’s been playing on so he can return to the United States, reportedly to be with his pregnant wife. He has been playing with Valencia (Spain-ACB) on a one-month contract to replace the injured Thomas Kelati and has averaged 9.3ppg in four ACB contests. Quinn is a four-year member of the Notre Dame basketball team and went undrafted after graduation, but was signed as a free agent by the Miami Heat. Quinn spent three seasons with the Heat, one with New Jersey and one with San Antonio. He was signed as a free agent in Sept. 2012 by Utah, but was waived before the season opened.
