The NBA has announced the list of participants of the draft combine that will take place this May 16-17. It is an opportunity for players who are jockeying for valuable draft positions to get to showcase their skills and game for the appreciation of NBA scouts.
19-year-old freshman from Kentucky, Nerlens Noel, who is expected to be a high pick in the upcoming draft will be present, but will not participate as he is still recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL. Other notable players in attendance are Ben McLemore of Kansas and Georgetown’s Otto Porter. Among the international candidates in the mix, seeking first-round draft consideration, Frenchman Rudy Gobert looks like a must-watch prospect.
Other international players are not participating in the event as some of them are still in the midst of playing for their respective teams. Some of these players include Sergey Karasev from Triumph (Russia), Croatian forward Dario Saric from KK Cibona Zagreb, and intriguing Greek guard Giannis Adetokunbo from Filathlitikos.
