Carsen Edwards joins Fenerbahce

Carsen Edwards has signed with Fenerbahce Istanbul for the 2022-23 season. Edwards (180 cm, 24 years old) spent most of last season split between Salt Lake City of the G League and Detroit of the NBA. He was the fifth-best scorer in the G League last season with 23.3 points, while he also added 4.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. In four NBA appearances with Detroit, he averaged 5.8 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 rebounds.

Carsen Edwards was a college star at Purdue University, scoring 24.3 points per game in his third year before turning pro in 2019. He spent his first two seasons split between Boston in the NBA, where he played in 71 games, and Maine in the G League, where he averaged 22.2 points in 13 appearances. Edwards is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut next season.
