Phoenix Suns forward, Michael Beasley (208 cm, Kansas State’08) has found himself in hot water once again. Beasley is under investigation by law enforcement authorities from Scottsdale Arizona regarding an alleged sexual assault. The alleged assault was said to take place on January 13th of this year.

Here is part of the official statement made by the police to the media:

“At this point we can only say the investigation is ongoing,” said David Pubins, Scottsdale police spokesman. “We are interviewing those involved and processing any physical evidence we may have to try and determine if criminal charges are appropriate.”

Even before his very first game as a pro with the Miami Heat in 2008, Beasley was fined $50,000 for his involvement in a marijuana-related incident.

Beasley has had yet another disappointing season with the Suns as he averaged 10.1 ppg and 3.8 rpg in 75 games this season. He was often used sparingly off the bench due to his issues with consistency. He inked a three-year, $18 million deal with the Suns before the season began.
