BC Zalgiris Kaunas restricted from signing players

Due to the recent decision by the FIBA Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) that BC Zalgiris Kaunas owes former coach Ilias Zouros €156,000 in pay (click here to see story), FIBA has placed a restriction on Zalgiris from registering new players.
Once the debt owed to Zouros is paid, the restriction will be lifted and Zalgiris will be allowed to sign new talent. The last player they signed was Jeff Foote on Sept. 7th.
