The Basketball Champions League Final Four is officially set. The last games of the quarterfinals came down to an exciting finish last night. AEK Athens defeated Brose Baskets Bamberg 69-67 but Brose Baskets are advancing thanks to a 136-138 aggregate score of games one and two. Iberostar Tenerife steamrolled over Hapoel Jerusalem 81-64 (aggregate: 154-139), allowing the yellow shirts to advance. Antwerp completed their sweep over Nizhny Novgorod 66-61 with a convincing 149-129 aggregate. Virtus Bologna came through with a blowout win over JSF Nanterre 73-58
(aggregate: 148-141) to seal the deal and punch their ticket to the semis.

The semifinals will take place on May 3rd, giving these teams some to rest, regroup and prepare for their respective matchups. A draw for the pairings will be held next week.

One thing is for certain, with AEK Athens out of the hunt, we’re set to crown a new champion on May 5th. Which team will come out victorious and raise the trophy above their heads?
