Andrew Wiggins (203 cm) has officially declared his intent to join the 2014 NBA Draft. The athletic 19-year-old from Canada is expected to be one of the top picks in the upcoming draft. He’s being projected as a top-three pick and is not out of the question to be the first overall pick. Wiggins will be going pro after only playing on year withe the Kansas Jayhawks.
In 35 NCAA games Andrew posted solid averages of 17.1 ppg and 5.9 rpg. He rookie season saw its fair share of ups and downs, with Wiggins starting off the season slow, but he was able to heat up mid-season. In the list of his accomplishments in his one-year stint with Kansas, Wiggins was named to the All-Big 12 1st Team, Big 12 All-Tournament Team, the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and the USBWA NCAA All-American 2nd Team.
