Alex Renfroe not to continue with Bamberg

Alex Renfroe (191 cm, Belmont’09) will not be continuing his career with Brose Baskets Bamberg from Germany’s BBL for the 2013-14 season. Renfroe signed with the team in late Frebruary, 2013. He was also part of the team’s starting back court when they captured the 2013 German BBL title. The team also finished atop of the league standings at the end of the regular season.

Overall for the 2012-13 season he averaged 7.1 ppg and 4.7 apg in 23 games in the German league. He transferred to Bamberg after playing 22 games for Blancos de Rueda Valladolid from Spain (ACB). He posted averages of 10.3 ppg and 4.5 apg.
