AEK Larnaca champion of Cyprus

AEK Larnaca beat Keravnos 72-65 yesterday in the 5th game of the Cyprus playoff finals and thereby won the title.

It is the fifth title in the history of AEK Larnaca that also won the cup title this season.

Derek Ogbeide was the MVP in yesterday’s game as he scored 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. In a very close game host Keravnos had a maximum lead of eight points (55-47) but AEK Larnaca bounced back and took the first lead of the game (60-58) in the 33rd minute. Keravnoc has no answer and seven minutes later AEK was crowned champion of Cyprus.
