Tijuca making sure this season counts

Preparation for the next season of the NBB (Brazilian National Basketball League)has already started for Tijuca. The team from Rio de Janeiro made it to the playoffs last year in its first year of play but is not taking any chances.

It has come back for this season with many changes: 5 new contracts. The new players names are Fred from Flamengo and Bruninho from Brasilia. The wing Wanderson from Franca and the Pivot Cesar from the Sorocabana League. The center Renan Leichtweis has made his way from Spain. Arnaldinho and Marcellus, both wings, and Rodrigo Bahia have had their contracts renewed from last season.

One final player is to be contracted, most likely a foreigner.
