Thomas Kennedy moves to Chiba Jets

Veteran of Japanese hoops Thomas Kennedy (201 cm, Detroit Mercy’10) is headed to Japan’s NBL after spending a few season in the BJ League. He has signed with the Chiba Jets for the 2013-14 season. Thomas has already logged two games for his new team and is currently averaging 9.0 ppg and 4.5 rpg. Kennedy started the 2013-14 season with the Shimane Susanoo Magic (Japan-BJ League). He played 10 games for them and posted averages of 17.1 ppg and 7.5 rpg.

In 2012-13 he played for the 2013 Japanese BJ League Champions, the Yokohama B-Corsairs. In 56 games Kennedy put up solid numbers with 18.6 ppg and 7.0 rpg.
