Terrence Shannon signs with Al Muharraq

Terrence Shannon (203 cm, Elgin CC’99) will be playing for Al Muharraq from Bahrain’s Premier league this 2013-14. The 34-year-old veteran from Chicago is making the transfer from Mexican club Toros de Nuevo Laredo. Before the move he was able to play eight games for the Toros in the Mexican LNBP and averaged 14.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg.

In 2012-13 he started off playing for Fuerza Regia Monterrey (Mexico-LNBP). He scored 17.7 ppg while grabbing an average of 7.1 rpg through seven games. Terrence later moved to  9 de Julio Rio Tercero from Argentina’s LigaA, then later moved on to La Union Formosa, from the same league. There he was able to average 14.3 ppg and and 7.1 rpg in 27 games.

After that run he moved on to join Vaqueros de Bayamon (Puerto Rico-BSN). Shannon posted averages of 17.8 ppg and 8.0 rpg.
