Teddy Gipson replaces Galloway at Igokea

Teddy GipsonTeddy Gipson (193 cm, Arkansas´03) has been signed by BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Bosnia Division 1, Eurocup and Adriatic League) after the club shook up its roster. A poor start to the campaign has resulted in Igokea releasing Nikola Gacesa (205 cm, TCU´11) and Ramon Galloway (190 cm, La Salle’13). American player Gipson has been brought into the roster as a replacement for Galloway.

Last season Teddy Gipson was busy in both the German and French leagues. The guard started the 2012/2013 campaign playing for Brose Baskets Bamberg in both the German BBL and the Euroleague. In twenty BBL games he averaged 10.1 points and 2.2 assists per game while in the Euroleague he recorded 7.6 points and 1.4 rebounds per game over sixteen appearances.

The 33-year old veteran then moved to Limoges CSP Elite (France ProA) and averaged 8.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists from eleven games. Teddy Gipson has also played in Holland as well as his stints in Germany and France.
