Stanley Burrell signs with Gaziantep

Stanley Burrell (191 cm, Xavier’08) is joining Royal Hali Gaziantep Buyuksehir Belediye (Turkey-TBL) for the 2013-14 season. He has worked out for several NBA teams throughout his career, but unfortunately has never made the cut.

The 28-year-old Burrell played the 2012-13 season for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven from Germany’s BBL. In 32 games for Bremerhaven he averaged 16.2 ppg and 4.3 apg. He was selected to play in the 2013 German Bundesliga All-Star Game. In 2011-12 he played for Poland’s Energa Czarni Slupsk (PLK) and averaged 15.6 ppg and 4.8 apg in 39 games.
