Shane Edwards added by Sundsvall

Shane Edwards (201 cm, UALR’09) has agreed to terms with the Sundsvall Dragons (Sweden-Basketligan) and will be a new addition to their roster this season. Edwards was hoping to draw interest from an NBA team this 2014-15, but unfortunately after being released by the Cleveland Cavaliers no one came calling and he has decided to make a return to Europe. In 2013-14 he began with the Canton Charge (USA-D-League) and played a total of 49 games and was able to average 14.4 ppg and 5.4 rpg. He called up to play for the Cavaliers in March 2014, but only appeared in two games where he averaged one point and one rebound.
