Shahrdari Qazvin tabs Waverly Austin

Iranian team Shahrdari Qazvin has signed Waverly Austin (211 cm, C). The American Center, who also has a German passport, is no stranger to Iran since he also played there last season (Chemidor).

Back in the days, Waverly Austin was one of the best junior college players in the US before moving on to the University of Oregon.

There, he was a role player who averaged only 1.8 ppg and 2.3 rpg. Nevertheless, after graduation, he signed with MLP Academics Heidelberg from Germany (Pro ). After Germany, Austin also played in the Czech Republic, France and Lithuania.
