Sean Williams moves to Petrochimi

Former NBA forward Sean Williams (208 cm, Boston College’07) will be taking his talents to Iran after agreeing to terms with Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbor.  Petrochimi is currently sitting on a pristine 16-0 record in the Iranian Superleague. The addition of the former 17th overall NBA draft pick only serves to strengthen their already competitive frontcourt.

Sean began the 2013-14 season in the D-League with the Delaware 87ers.  In the preseason moved over to Turkey’s TBL to play for Torku Selcuk Universitesi Konya. In 16 games Williams posted averages of 11.1 ppg and 7.9 rpg. He was stellar on defense with averages of 1.8 spg and 3.8 bpg.
