Sam Clancy heads to Marinos Anzoategui

Sam Clancy (202 cm, USC’02) has penned a contract with Marinos de Anzoátegui of the Venezuelan LPB until the end of the current season. Clancy has been playing with Olimpico de La Banda (Argentina, Liga A) and has huge experience in South America including a previous stint in Venezuela. This season with Olimpico in Argentina the American center has played 43 times and logged averages of 12.2ppg and 2.7rpg.

32-year old Sam Clancy has previously played in the LPB with Cocodrilos de Caracas in 2004 and 2005 but the player has also been on the roster of NBA franchises including the Philadelphia 76ers and the Portland Trailblazers.
